Our organization is compromised of emergency service providers throughout the state of Arizona representing ground and air ambulance providers, both public and private, from densely populated urban areas to rural and wilderness areas of the state. As a relative new-comer when compared to other emergency services such as fire or police, EMS has traveled a long way in a relatively short period of time. EMS today is still very much a work in progress. Changes continue to be made on almost a yearly basis, designed to improve the care that is provided and the quality of EMS delivered throughout Arizona. At any given time, there are multiple projects underway that may serve to improve and enhance Arizona EMS.
Through out team efforts and educational processes, we are able to work toward the betterment of ambulance and emergency medical services as a means of promoting the general health and safety of the population. General membership is open to all certified ground and air ambulance providers in the state. Affiliate membership is also open to ancillary and support service organizations. Become a part of the Arizona Ambulance Association. It’s the best way to associate with other EMS providers who do exactly what you do.

Whether it be new legislation, a change in the rules that govern how you conduct your business, or a change being contemplated to how you work in EMS, it’s our job to make sure your interests are protected anytime an EMS subject is discussed. From our legislative lobbyists who continually monitor the State Capitol for EMS-related developments within the legislature, to the Board of Directors, there are people working for you 365 days a year.
• EMS Education Twice each year the AzAA conducts general membership meetings that include the finest lecturers to present information on just about anything you can imagine related to EMS.
• Information Resource There’s so much to know and so much is changing that sometimes you don’t know who to believe or where to turn for information or help. As an AzAA member, you’ll know where to turn—to your association. If our Board members can’t answer your question, they’ll find someone who can. Send us an e-mail with your question or problem, or try our web site. It’s overflowing with the latest in EMS information from a calendar of EMS events, to the latest happenings.
